On Oct 10, 2010, Eric Larsen succeeded in climbing to the summit of Mt.Everest wearing Terramar brand baselayer produced by Beta Textiles Co.,Limited.

Terramar Sports, one of the clients of Beta Textiles Co.,Limited sponsored the Save the Poles project in which Eric Larsen wore Terramar baselayer while climbing to the summit of Mt.Everest. The performance clothing he was wearing was product from the Helix and Geofleece series produced by Beta Textiles Co.,Limited but with Terramar brands.

Beta Textiles Co.,Limited has been doing OEM production for many world famous brands including Terramar.

With availability of more than 200 flatlock sewing machinese, Beta Textiles Co.,Limited is a specialized manufacturer of flatlock seam thermal underwear, sportswear and outdoor clothing.

The dri-wear series of performance wear, produced by Beta Textiles Co., Limited and sold to Marks Work Wearhouse by LHI in Canada, won the Innovation award from the Buyer in June 2010.

The client in one of the largest importers of thermal underwear in Canada and production was done in China by Beta Textiles Co.,Limited.

After years of trials and research, Beta Textiles Co.,Limited successfully produced a filament polypropylene (polypro) mesh without barre. Garments samples are being made in flatlock stitching in its fully owned mill in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu, China.

The 140 gsm piquet mesh is a common fabric for active wear due to its extreme lightness, high abrasion, moisture conduction and superb thermal insulation. But products in the market are with slight defective barres (stripes) due to yarn defects.

Having tried yarns from overseas and domestic sources, Beta Textiles Co.,Limited successfully produced the fabric without barres by working with a new yarn supplier with the most up to date equipments.

On the 23rd of Sep, 2010, Mr.John Zhang, Managing Director of Beta Textiles Co.,Limited met with representatives from Vokant. Both parties reviewed products to be developed and possible supply of thermal products by Beta Textiles to Vokant.

Vokant is an company mainly supplying thermal  underwear to the European Market.
